Summary

Orgline (aiorgchart.app) turns employee spreadsheets into org charts. The spreadsheets you open are read and processed inside your own web browser. Employee names, titles, emails, salaries and reporting lines from your files are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Who we are

Orgline is the data controller for the limited account information described below. Contact: privacy@aiorgchart.app.

Employee spreadsheets

• Files you upload are parsed on your device; charts, metrics and PowerPoint/Excel exports are generated in your browser.
• Saved restructure scenarios are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
• Because we never receive this data, we cannot view, recover or share it.

Information we do collect

• Account details — email address and sign-in details when you create an account (including via Google), to let you sign in.
• Profile details — optional display name, company name and logo, used on your exports.
• Feedback — messages and optional email you send through the feedback button, to reply and improve the product.
• Technical logs — standard request information such as IP address and browser type, kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

Legal basis

We process account and profile details to provide the service you asked for (contract), feedback based on your consent, and technical logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Service providers

We use hosting, authentication and database providers to run the site, and Google if you choose Google sign-in. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers may process data outside your country.

Cookies and local storage

We use only functional storage needed for sign-in, interface preferences and saved scenarios. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

Account and profile details are kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Feedback is kept as long as needed to respond and improve the product.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may request access to, correction, deletion or export of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your local data protection authority. Email privacy@aiorgchart.app to make a request.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
