Is my employee data uploaded anywhere?
No. Your spreadsheet is read and processed inside your browser. Employee names, salaries and reporting lines are never sent to our servers. An account is only used for sign-in and your profile.
What file do I need?
Any Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file with at least an employee name column and a manager column. Exports from HR systems usually work as-is; extra columns like department, title, grade or salary unlock more views and metrics.
Can I try restructures without changing the original chart?
Yes. The Restructure tab is a sandbox: drag people onto new managers, save scenarios like Plan A and Plan B, and compare the impact on headcount, span of control and cost against the original.
